Hi,

Sometimes in life it can seem like starting a home daycare is the only option you have. If this is you, I say why not make the most of it. Running a home daycare can be both fun and financially rewarding if you do it right.

I was just reading a blog post by Sara who seems to be in this position.

Here’s an excerpt:

“It’s Friday, and I finally back. So to continue…my last option is to stay home and do my own in-home daycare. This seems like the best option right now. We are only going to be here for a year or so and it is so depressing to finally get comfortable with people and a job and move again, so I am leaning towards not getting one like that. However, this changes the type of vehicle we would need to buy for me. In order to haul around kids, I would need something bigger. I am so sad at the thought of being 25 and potentially driving a mini-van. We are also looking at SUVs that have a third row of seats for the sake of my sanity.”

You can read the whole thing here: Before I get hurt…

I hope you make a go of it and have a great time, Sara.

Talk soon,
Mary
