Hi,
If you run a home daycare, you may have experienced a nosey parent, who hangs around too long and asks lots of personal questions.
I just found a message board post about this with some helpful replies.
Here’s the original post:
“I have a particular set of parents who like to stay around extra minutes during pick up time and it seems that they always strike up conversations that seem to be a bit personal. I do beleive it is harmless but how do I “professionally” say it is none of your business??? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!
P.S. I don’t mind the parents staying 5/10 min. so I can explain how their childs day went, things that happen etc. however my daycare ends at 5:30 p.m. and my family time begins. ”
