Childcare Marketing Ideas

Hi,

I’ve just been reading a post from nikki021771 on the DaycareManager.net forum.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Hello ladies, I have been doing childcare for 3 years, but have only been (licensed) for a year now. I had 3 children in my care, and now I am down to one child. One parent started working from home, and didn’t need childcare anymore, and didn’t tell me until the weekend. Another parent sent me an E-mail 2 weeks after I called her, and she told me she would be returning on 8/22 explaining that a woman from her church whom she has known a long time offered to watch the baby. She went on to tell me that it was an offer she couldn’t refuse. And was impresed with my level of care, and want’s to keep in touch in case she needs me in the future. I am having difficulties geting more children in. I have tried every form of free advertising that I can think of, I even bought big car magnetic signs.. $45.00. I need 4 more children, and a waiting list in order to be able to stay in the BIZ. If that doesn’t happen for me, then off to get an outside job I go. I love doing childcare for more reasons than one, but it is getting tough for my family.”

You can read the whole thing here: Getting kids……

It really is a shame to see people like Nikki struggling when there’s information online that can solve her problems. Hopefully she’ll sign up for my newsletter and we can get her sorted out.

Talk soon,
Mary
